The straw machine is also designed for crushing alfalfa, lavender, hay and other biomass. Shredder for straw is equipped with a rotating tray for smooth feeding of coarse material to knives and hammers. Bales can be of different sizes, including smaller than the diameter of the raw material loading drum. The size of the crushed raw material depends on the sieve. The rotation of the drum can be changed smoothly by changing the rotation speed with an inverter, to achieve the desired efficiency.

The crushing machine can work, both on its own and in an assembly line for the production of straw pellets, alfalfa and other biomass.
